This policy explains what information ComicPrince ("ComicPrince", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. ComicPrince is a hosted tool that helps comic and magazine sellers turn cover photos into eBay listing files.
Information we collect
- Account information — the email address you sign up with, and authentication data managed by our provider (Supabase).
- Shop settings — your store name, title/description templates, default price, and preferences you save.
- Usage data — counts of listings analyzed, to enforce plan limits and operate the service.
- Billing information — if you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer identifier and your subscription status; we never see or store your full card number.
- Cover photos you upload — processed to build your listings (see below).
- Technical data — standard server logs and, if enabled, aggregate analytics from our host.
Cover photos & AI processing
When you analyze a cover, the image is sent to Google (Gemini) to read the title, issue, and other fields. Photos are processed to fulfill your request and are not retained on our servers after processing; your working queue of photos is stored locally in your own browser. Google processes the image under its API terms.
How we use your information
- To provide the service — analyze covers, build listings, and export files.
- To operate accounts, enforce plan limits, and process subscriptions.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and provide support.
- To communicate essential service or billing messages.

Data retention
We keep your account and settings while your account is active. Cover photos are not retained on our servers after processing. When you delete your account, we remove your account, settings, and usage records, and cancel any active subscription (see below).
Your rights & choices
You can view and update your settings in the app at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data from the account panel (click your email → Danger zone → Delete my account), which also cancels any active subscription. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, portability); contact us to exercise them.
Cookies & local storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to cache your settings and working queue. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.
Security
Secrets and keys are held server-side only, and access to your data is restricted to your own account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children
ComicPrince is a business tool and is not directed to children. Do not use it if you are under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
