Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ComicPrince ("ComicPrince", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. The service

ComicPrince reads photos of comic and magazine covers using AI, builds draft eBay listings (title, description, condition, and a price-guide suggestion), and lets you export a file to upload to your own eBay account. ComicPrince does not list or sell on your behalf and does not connect to your eBay account.

2. Accounts

You must provide an accurate email and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person or shop per account, except for team seats included with eligible plans.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled.
You can cancel anytime from the billing portal (account panel → Manage billing). Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current period.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
We may change prices or plan limits with reasonable notice; changes apply to the next billing period.
Plan limits (e.g., books per week/month) are enforced by the service.

4. Free plan

The free plan is offered as-is with usage limits and may be changed or discontinued. It is intended for evaluation, not sustained commercial volume.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, no reselling access, and no uploading content you don't have the right to use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos you upload and the listings you generate. You grant us a limited license to process your photos and data solely to provide the service (including sending images to our AI provider for analysis). You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you list.

7. AI output — review before you list

ComicPrince uses automated AI and third-party price data. Results may be incomplete or incorrect — titles, identifications, conditions, and suggested prices are starting points that you must review before listing. We do not guarantee accuracy, sales, or any particular outcome on eBay or elsewhere.

8. Third-party data & trademarks

Comic metadata is verified against the Grand Comics Database, used under CC BY-SA 4.0. Price-guide values are provided by PriceCharting under a commercial agreement. ComicPrince is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by eBay, the Grand Comics Database, PriceCharting, or CovrPrice. All trademarks belong to their owners.

9. Intellectual property

ComicPrince, its software, and branding are owned by us. These Terms grant you a limited, non-transferable right to use the service; they don't transfer any ownership.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time (account panel → Danger zone). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to comply with law. On deletion, your data is removed and any active subscription is canceled.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComicPrince will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits or sales. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
